Zimní stadion Hradec Králové is an indoor ice rink with a large hall seating 3,920 and standing 2,970, plus a small hall with 500 standing places. The main hall's oval auditorium was designed in 1968 by architect Křelina, and the complex includes a 72-guest hotel, gym, and fan shop.

A natural-ice rink with artificial lighting was built on the site in 1930; compressor-made ice followed in the late 1940s. The first artificial-ice stadium opened in 1957, and its replacement, a covered arena for 12,000, was begun in 1968 and completed in 1976. A second, uncovered ice surface was added in 1980.

The arena is home to Mountfield HK of the Czech Extraliga. It has hosted the 1980 European Junior Championship and the 2002 World Junior Championship, and in 1984 Czechoslovak Davis Cup tennis ties were played on clay here, including matches watched by Ivan Lendl before his 1986 emigration.
