Šikland, Outdoor entertainment complex in Czechia

Šikland is an amusement park and historic mill building in Zvole, Czech Republic. The grounds include a western-themed town, a natural water park, animal enclosures, rides, and overnight accommodations.

The site's first written mention dates to 1988, when founder Libor Šikl moved into a house he inherited from his grandmother. A country-style event followed a year later with about 50 visitors, and Šikl then bought the ruins of an old mill and reclaimed land once belonging to his parents. A Gold Rush and Wild West town, the "Western City", was built the next year and expanded until 1994; a Mexico-themed section and the Colorado Grand hotel were added in 2001.

The park is easiest to reach by car, as it sits outside the town center and has its own parking area. Plan for a full day or even an overnight stay, since the grounds are large and there is a lot to cover.

The first rodeo in the Czech Republic was held here in 1998, followed by a night show and a stunt-riding show on horses. Visitors can also rent period costumes, drive the Union Pacific-themed train, or try an electric bull, tomahawk throwing and archery.
