Šikland, Outdoor entertainment complex in Czechia
Šikland is an amusement park and historic mill building in Zvole, Czech Republic. The grounds include a western-themed town, a natural water park, animal enclosures, rides, and overnight accommodations.
The site traces back to a mill from the 15th century, which changed hands and purposes over the centuries. That old structure eventually gave way to the amusement park that exists today.
The park is easiest to reach by car, as it sits outside the town center and has its own parking area. Plan for a full day or even an overnight stay, since the grounds are large and there is a lot to cover.
Šikland has its own small grassy airfield, meaning visitors can actually arrive by light aircraft if they choose. The park is also home to a tigress named Mia, kept in a dedicated enclosure within the grounds.
