Central Bohemian Research Library, Scientific library in Kladno, Czech Republic

The Central Bohemian Research Library is a research institution in Kladno with collections spanning multiple languages and varied formats. It houses printed books, electronic resources, and digital databases that support researchers and students in their work.

The library occupies the former Okresní dům, built in 1909–1910 to plans by Josef Mařík and Karel Šidlík, with interiors renovated in 2010 after a design by Kladno architect Jan Červený. The building has been heritage-protected since 1987. It serves as the regional library for the Central Bohemian Region and lends through five authorized municipal libraries.

The library has occupied the former District House since 1954; the building was designed by Josef Mařík and Karel Šidlík in 1909–1910 and has been heritage-protected since 1987. Its interiors were rebuilt in 2010 to plans by Kladno architect Jan Červený.
