Archeologický skanzen Modrá, Archaeological open-air museum in Velehrad, Czech Republic
The archaeological park features reconstructed buildings, fortification walls, workshops, and agricultural structures based on discoveries from the Great Moravian period.
The site contains authentic archaeological finds from the 9th century, including remnants of residential structures, craft workshops, and religious buildings.
Throughout the year, the museum presents traditional crafts, metalworking demonstrations, and pottery making activities that reflect historical Slavic practices.
The museum opens Tuesday through Sunday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with guided tours available until 3:15 PM, and remains closed during winter months.
The complex integrates a Living Water exhibit displaying freshwater fish species alongside historical reconstructions and an educational center focused on regional traditions.
