Městský stadion v Horním parku is a football and athletics stadium in Znojmo with a natural grass pitch, under-soil heating and a six-lane running track. Its main stand is roofed, and the 2,599 plastic seats replaced wooden benches. Four floodlight masts can be folded down along their full length.
Construction began in 1948 on a site that already held two football pitches, and the stadium was completed and opened in 1952 in the presence of Czechoslovak runner Emil Zátopek. A main grandstand was later roofed, and in 2007 the venue was renamed from Stadion v Husových sadech to Městský stadion v Horním parku.
The stadium serves as the home of local football club 1. SC Znojmo and hosts track and field events throughout the year. It remains a gathering place where residents come together to watch sports and celebrate their community.
The stadium sits in Horní park, next to the Nevoga Arena ice hall. Its four floodlight masts fold down along their full length, as at Potsdam's Karl-Liebknecht-Stadion. Besides football, the ground hosts school sports and regular fire-sport events.
