Amatérská Cave, Cave system in Blansko District, Czech Republic.
The Amatérská Cave extends over 40 kilometers of underground passages, making it the longest cave system in the Czech Republic and Moravia.
Two speleologists lost their lives during a flood in 1970, leading to the cave being named Amatérská in their memory.
The cave walls contain a geometric Neolithic drawing measuring 30x40 centimeters, dated through radiocarbon analysis to approximately 5,200 years ago.
Access requires guided tours through either a natural entrance at Cikansky Sink Hole or an artificial entrance beneath Konsky Spad in Pusty Zleb canyon.
Two underground streams, Bílá voda and Sloupský potok, merge within the cave system to form the River Punkva.
