Rozhledna Anna is a wooden observation tower rising about 17 meters above Anenský vrch, equipped with metal stairs leading to viewing platforms at multiple heights. The structure was completed in 2010 and uses regional larch wood for its framework.
The site once housed a chapel built in 1766 by forester Johan Kastner following a remarkable encounter in the surrounding forest. This religious structure served the area for generations before the current observation tower eventually replaced it.
The tower carries a name honoring a local figure from the area's past, and its wooden structure has become part of how locals and visitors experience this mountain landscape. Today, people gather here to take in views and connect with the natural surroundings.
The tower is accessible year-round via marked hiking trails starting from nearby settlements like Říčky or Rokytnice. Good hiking boots and weather-appropriate clothing are advisable since the path crosses mountain terrain.
On clear days, visitors can spot the Jeseníky mountain ridge, the Praděd peak, and distant church spires from Panna Marie Sedmibolestná near Krnov from the viewing platform. This expansive panorama makes it a favorite spot for photographers seeking to capture the region's layered topography.
