Čejchanův Hrádek, Gothic castle ruin in Komorní Hrádek, Czech Republic.
The castle remains stand on a promontory above the Sázava River, displaying medieval defensive architecture with fragments of walls and gate towers.
Built in the late 13th century by the Lords of Dubá, the castle received its name from Čejchan of Hrádek, mentioned in records from 1356.
The site represents Gothic military architecture of medieval Bohemia and maintains protected status as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic.
Visitors can reach the ruins by following marked hiking trails from Chocerady, with accommodation options available in nearby villages.
The castle met its end in 1402 when royal forces captured it from knight Jan Zoul of Ostředek, who used it as a base for robbery.
