Church of the Annunciation

The Church of the Annunciation is a baroque building on Dolní náměstí with curved stone facades and ornate carved details from the 17th and 18th centuries. Inside, painted ceilings, marble altars, and religious sculptures create a layered visual experience across the main nave and side chapels.

Construction started in the early 1700s and was finished in 1754, representing a period when Olomouc expanded its religious buildings. The baroque design reflected the architectural tastes of the time across Central Europe.
