Brno

Brno is a mountain summit located near Strašice in the western part of the Czech Republic. The peak can be reached through various hiking routes that traverse the surrounding wooded slopes.

The summit served as a medieval observation point for communication between regional fortifications centuries ago. Remains of old watchtowers suggest that this strategic location was important for local defense networks.

Local residents gather annually at the summit during the summer solstice to maintain the tradition of signal fires dating back to medieval times.

Several marked hiking trails lead to the summit, and parking areas are available at the base of the mountain. The routes vary in difficulty and take walkers through different sections of the surrounding landscape.

The summit features an unusual geological formation where exposed granite blocks naturally form steps leading toward the peak. This distinctive arrangement makes the ascent easier and gives the location a memorable character.
