Radeč is a narrow 2 km ridge of resistant quartzite in the Křivoklátská vrchovina, rising to 723 m at its main summit, where the remains of a wooden survey tower stand. East of the main top lies the 718 m Brno peak with a radio transmitter over 60 m tall, then a 650 m saddle crossed by a red-marked hiking trail, and further east the rocky outcrops of Hrad (680 m) and Čihátko (654 m).

The ridge's eastern spur, called Hrad, held the medieval castle Mitrvald, of which only a rampart and ditch remain. In 1889 the Club of Czech Tourists marked one of its first four trails, from Holoubkov to Radeč (then called Rač). The summit's name Brno dates from the National Revival, honouring the Moravian capital.

The name Brno, given to the 718 m secondary summit, dates from the Czech National Revival, when it was named in honour of the Moravian capital. A red-marked hiking trail crosses the 650 m saddle east of Brno, and the whole ridge lies within the Radeč nature park.

Multiple marked trails lead to the summit, with the main path starting near a parking area in the surrounding area. Wear proper hiking shoes and bring weather-appropriate clothing since conditions can change quickly at higher elevations.

The ridge's second-highest point, Brno (718 m), carries a radio transmitter over 60 m tall that is visible from afar; its name dates from the National Revival period, when the peak was named in honour of the Moravian capital. Because the height difference from Radeč (723 m) is small, Brno is sometimes mistaken for the highest point.
