Dalibor

Dalibor is an observation tower built on a hilltop near Zaječí in South Moravia. It offers views across the vineyard-covered landscape and the village below.

The tower was built to enhance visitor access to the wine region and highlight its importance to the local economy. It represents newer tourism infrastructure added to this part of Moravia.

The tower serves as a central point for local wine tourism activities, connecting visitors with the traditions of Czech wine production.

The tower is reached via marked hiking paths starting from the village, with parking available at the base of the hill. The walk is straightforward and accessible to casual hikers.

From this location, several protected nature areas can be seen in the distance: Pálava, the Lednice-Valtice wetlands, and the Lower Morava Biosphere Reserve. This concentration of conservation zones gives the view special value for understanding the region's ecology.
