Velvarská Gate is a medieval city gate and museum in Slaný standing approximately 38 meters tall with a passage around 8 meters in length and 4.7 meters in both width and height. The gate underwent renovation during the reign of George of Poděbrady in 1453 and received the designation 'New Gate' with Latin inscriptions on its inner walls. This reconstruction marked an important moment in Slaný's defensive fortification development.
