Hrubšice Castle is a Renaissance château located in the village of Hrubšice in the Brno-Country District. The building displays symmetrical proportions, regular window arrangements, and ornamental details that reflect the architectural style of the Renaissance period.

A fortress stood on the site in 1555. In 1558–1598 Hrubšice was a separate estate of the lords of Lipá, and Berchtold Bohosud of Lipá probably began the Renaissance château, perhaps incorporating the old fortress. Unfinished when he inherited Moravský Krumlov in 1598, it was likely completed after 1600, by which time it served only for estate administration and officials' housing.

The name Hrubšice comes from the village, and the castle lost its residential role soon after 1600, serving as an economic administration office and later as flats for officials. The arcaded courtyard in the north and east wings, entered through a passage with a rusticated portal in the north wing, is the main feature a visitor can see.

The castle is located near Brno and can be reached by public transport or car from the nearby towns. It is best to check opening times and access conditions before planning a visit to avoid disappointment.

The south wing that closes today's four-wing layout was added later, probably in the 18th century; the original building had three wings around a courtyard open to the south. The arcaded courtyard in the north and east wings is entered through a passage with a rusticated portal in the north wing.
