Jirásek Bridge, Steel and concrete bridge across Vltava River in Prague, Czech Republic.

The bridge spans 310.6 meters and features six arched sections with granite-lined piers and concrete railings along its 21-meter width.

Constructed between 1929 and 1933 under architect Vlastislav Hofman's design, the bridge replaced earlier plans for a crossing from Myslíkova Street to Dětský Island.

The structure received its name from Czech writer Alois Jirásek, though Germans temporarily renamed it Dienzenhofer Bridge from 1940 to 1945.

Integrated pipes within the bridge structure carry essential utilities including water, steam, gas, electric, and telephone cables across the Vltava River.

Hidden chambers within the bridge's masonry were designed to house explosives for strategic demolition, which Germans later filled with concrete.
