Kostel Zvěstování Panny Marie, Baroque church in Mariánský Týnec, Czech Republic
The Church of the Annunciation features a Greek cross layout with a central dome and four surrounding towers connected by covered walkways.
Construction began in 1711 under architect Jan Santini Aichel's direction, following the demolition of an earlier pilgrimage church from the 17th century.
The interior contains marble altars from the 18th century and frescoes painted by Siard František Nosecký depicting religious scenes.
The church complex now functions as part of the Museum and Gallery of Northern Pilsen Region, offering guided tours and cultural exhibitions.
A new corner chapel dedicated to the Sacrifice of the Lord was added in 2012, followed by the reconstruction of the eastern ambit between 2017 and 2020.
