Church of Saint Thérèse of Lisieux, Modern Catholic church in Kobylisy, Czech Republic.

The Church of Saint Thérèse of Lisieux on Kobyliské náměstí began as a chapel designed by Čeněk Vořech and consecrated in 1937. A 1997 reconstruction by Václav Mašek added a northern extension and converted former offices, raising seating from about 150 to 300 and turning the worship space from an east-west to a north-south axis.

In 1926 the landowner Antonín Ženíšek donated about 2,000 m² for a church; the Salesians, present in Bohemia since 1927, took over the project in 1936. The provisional chapel by Čeněk Vořech was consecrated on 24 October 1937, and the parish was established in 1946. The complex was seized by the state in 1950 and returned to the Salesians in 1991.

The parish is entrusted to the Salesians of Don Bosco, who came to Prague at the request of Cardinal Karel Kašpar and ran the institute founded here in 1936 under its first director Štěpán Trochta. The bells installed in 2001 were blessed on 26 October by Bishop Jaroslav Škarvada.

The church stands on Kobyliské náměstí, a short walk from the Kobylisy metro station. The Salesians of Don Bosco, who have staffed the parish since 1991, keep the building open for services; the former institute beside it now serves as their community house.

The 1997 reconstruction by Václav Mašek reversed the chapel's orientation: the worship space now runs north-south instead of east-west. The interior decoration was designed by Antonín Klouda and the stained glass made by Jan Exnar.
