Nature reserve Králova zahrada

The protected area of Králova zahrada spans 17.36 hectares of wetlands at 444 meters above sea level in the spring area of Zádolský stream.

The Czech government designated this land as a protected nature reserve in 1994, establishing specific regulations for habitat and species management.

Local schools and nature organizations use this reserve for educational programs focused on wetland ecosystems and native plant species conservation.

Visitors can access the reserve through a forest path less than one kilometer from Semanín train station, following the blue-marked hiking trail to Svitavy.

Norway spruce trees grow at unusually low altitudes in this reserve, while spring snowflakes create extensive flowering displays during the early season.
