The Church of Saint Matthew is a single-nave baroque church in Jedlová, built in 1737–1741 and consecrated by the Carmelite prior František Martin. Inside are a plain wooden cross, a stone lectern and a few simple benches, along with historical photographs of Jedlová and neighbouring villages. Behind the church, traces of former sacristies remain.

A wooden church was first recorded in 1636; Jedlová belonged to the Solnice estate and was attached to the Deštné parish only in 1723. The present church was built in 1737–1741 and consecrated by the Carmelite prior František Martin. Lightning set it on fire in 1833 and it was restored by 1835.

The church now serves the diocesan youth centre Vesmír, and services are held irregularly throughout the year. Inside are a plain wooden cross, a stone lectern and simple benches, along with historical photographs of Jedlová and neighbouring villages. Across the road stands a small chapel, and in the cemetery lies the grave of local chronicler and poet Hieronymus Brinke.

The church welcomes visitors throughout the year and remains an active place of worship for the community. Plan your visit during times when religious services are not taking place to explore the building more freely and respectfully.
