Památník Vojna

Pamätnik Vojna is a memorial site with preserved prison buildings located near Príbram, comprising administrative structures, prison blocks, a medical ward, communal spaces, and residential facilities. The complex spreads across several buildings that together display the physical layout and structure of the former institution.

The site originated as a German prisoner-of-war camp during World War II and was subsequently transformed into a forced labor camp under communist rule. This shift reflects how the location changed hands and purpose as political circumstances in the region evolved.
