Castle Nový Herštejn

Castle Nový Herštejn is a Gothic ruin situated on elevated terrain, surrounded by forest paths and woodland. The remaining stone walls display the typical medieval construction style with defensive structures characteristic of that era.

The fortress was built in the 14th century when nobility across the Czech lands invested heavily in castle construction. It served as part of the regional defense network and was eventually abandoned, leaving only ruins today.
