Přírodní park Horní Berounka, Nature park in Rokycany District, Czech Republic.
The Horní Berounka Nature Park spans across the upper Berounka River valley with varied biotopes in western Bohemia. Marked trails and natural formations connect different regions across three administrative districts.
The park was established on January 1, 1996 to protect natural habitats across the region. In 2021 its territory was integrated into the newly formed Berounka Nature Park.
The park territory includes multiple protected areas such as Zábělá Nature Reserve, Háj Reserve, Malochova Rock Formation, and Chlumská Slope National Nature Reserve.
The area is accessible through a network of hiking trails extending from Plzeň to Zvíkovec. Visitors should prepare for varied terrain and changing weather conditions in the valley.
Four rivers - Radbuza, Úhlava, Mže, and Úslava - converge at a single point within the park to form the Berounka. This junction creates a remarkable meeting place of waterways.
