Prírodný park Jistebnická vrchovina, Nature park in Tábor District, Czech Republic
The Jistebnická vrchovina Nature Park extends over 152 square kilometers across three districts: Benešov, Písek, and Tábor, featuring hills, forests, and water bodies.
The park received its official protected status on December 14, 1994, with additional territory in Písek District incorporated through regional legislation in 2004.
The landscape reflects traditional agricultural practices, with local farmers maintaining extensive farming methods that preserve the natural balance of fields and meadows.
Visitors can access multiple marked trails throughout the park, connecting various points of interest including Javorová skála peak at 722 meters above sea level.
The park contains several botanical sites designated as special protected areas, including the National Natural Monument Stročov and Natural Monument Zeman.
