Stvořidla is a nature reserve near Světlá nad Sázavou that spreads along river meanders and contains multiple rock formations of different shapes and heights. These natural structures create corridors where wildlife moves between forest areas, open spaces, and water zones throughout the year.

Stvořidla was declared a protected area in 1948. On 15 August 2017 a new declaration issued by the Vysočina Regional Authority on 11 July 2017 took effect, re-establishing the reserve under current nature-conservation rules. The protection targets the fast-flowing stretch of the Sázava and its rocky riverbed.

The name Stvořidla refers to the rocky riverbed of the Sázava, where the water has shaped the stone. The reserve protects a fast-flowing stretch of the river with adjacent floodplain, plus stands of oak-hornbeam, beech and alder-ash woodland. Visitors follow marked trails along the river to see these habitats.

You can reach the reserve from Světlá nad Sázavou through clearly marked paths that work for different fitness levels and walking speeds. Wear sturdy shoes and allow enough time to explore the different areas at your own pace without rushing.

The reserve protects a boulder-strewn stretch of the Sázava, where the river cuts through a gorge at 358–480 m above sea level. It was re-declared on 15 August 2017 by a Vysočina Regional Council regulation dated 11 July 2017, replacing the earlier protection.
