Church of Saint Francis of Assisi in Chodov

The Church of Saint Francis of Assisi in Chodov is a Roman Catholic church with a distinctive tower and modern roof structure. It was built on the site of a former slaughterhouse on Na Sádce street, transforming the location into a spiritual center.

The church was consecrated in 1938 by Cardinal Karel Kašpar during a period of economic hardship between financial crises and World War II. It emerged as a response to growing community needs in this area of Prague.
