Archeopark Všestary, Archaeological museum in Světí, Czech Republic
Archeopark Všestary is a museum displaying about 400 artifacts from different prehistoric periods, including stone axes, flint tools, bronze swords, helmets, and coins. The collection spans from the Late Stone Age to the Early Iron Age and features a large central model landscape.
The museum was founded in 1997 as a center for experimental archaeology focused on agricultural periods from the Late Stone Age through the Early Iron Age. Its buildings were constructed using prehistoric methods to demonstrate how ancient people built their structures.
The exhibits reveal how people from different ages lived and worked together in this region, displayed across three levels that tell their story. Visitors can observe how daily objects and weapons show the way communities organized their lives.
Visiting is possible from Tuesday through Sunday, with guided tours and educational programs available for groups. The grounds are largely walkable and well-suited for a half-day visit with family or school groups.
The museum connects its exhibits to a local trail that leads to archaeological sites in the surrounding area. These hiking routes allow visitors to see where the displayed objects were originally discovered.
