Archa Theatre is a contemporary performance venue in central Prague. Each production operates as an independent project with rotating artists and different creative approaches rather than relying on a permanent company.
The space was reorganized as ARCHA+ in 2024 and shifted focus toward documentary theatre practices. Leadership by Ondřej Hrab and Jana Svobodová established this new direction for the venue.
The venue presents international works that blend theatre, dance, and music into single productions. Visitors experience contemporary artistic visions that cross boundaries between different performance disciplines.
The venue sits near metro stations and has tram stops within easy walking distance. Its central location makes it accessible by public transport or on foot from many parts of the city.
Each project reshapes how the space and its seating for around 1200 people are used creatively. This shifting approach to the same venue creates a different experience with every show.
