Florentinum

Florentinum is a modern office building with nine floors arranged around a central interior plaza. The complex integrates office space with retail shops and a planted garden that provides a breathing space within the structure.

The building was designed by architecture firm Jakub Cigler Architekti and opened in 2013 in Prague's New Town. This project established a new standard for large-scale integrated office complexes in the Czech Republic.

The central piazza serves as a gathering point where people move between shops and offices throughout the day. This shared interior space shapes how visitors and workers experience the building as a connected whole.

The complex sits next to Florenc metro station, which is served by two lines making arrival straightforward. The building is open to visitors during standard hours, particularly for accessing the retail areas and garden spaces.

The complex houses the Desfour garden, a hidden green space tucked within the heart of the office block. This interior garden is often missed by visitors but offers a quiet retreat amid busy commercial activity.
