All Saints church, Baroque church in Uhříněves, Czech Republic.
All Saints Church is a Baroque building in Uhříněves featuring ornate interior decoration. The main altar displays woodcarvings by František Ferdinand Ublacker and paintings by Jan Petr Molitor the Elder from 1752, while the presbytery ceiling displays a fresco of the Holy Trinity.
The present building was constructed between 1740 and 1743 following designs by builder Tomáš Budil. It replaced an older structure from the 14th century that had previously served the community.
The church serves as the parish church of Uhříněves and has remained the spiritual center of the local community since its completion. Visitors can experience the living religious traditions of the area by attending services held throughout the year.
The church is located in the Uhříněves district of Prague and is open to visitors during services and visiting hours. It is best to check opening times in advance and dress respectfully to honor the religious nature of the place.
The church houses two historical bells, including a larger one cast in 1552 by Tomáš Jaroš and dedicated to St. Wenceslas and St. Ludmila. These bells are among the oldest objects in the building and predate the current structure by nearly two centuries.
