Nové divadlo is a modern theatre in the Jižní Předměstí district with two performance halls. The main auditorium accommodates roughly 400 spectators, while the smaller space serves audiences of up to 120 people.
The theatre was designed by architect Vladimír Kružík and opened its doors in early 2014. Its opening represented a significant addition to the cultural infrastructure of Plzeň.
The venue hosts drama, opera, ballet, and musical performances that shape the cultural life of the city. Visitors experience a range of artistic styles throughout the year in these spaces.
The theatre is located at Palackého náměstí 2971/30 in the city centre and is easily accessible on foot. It operates regularly throughout the week and hosts performances in both halls.
