Prírodný park Bezručovo údolí, Nature park in Chomutov District, Czech Republic
Přírodní park Bezručovo údolí was a nature park in the Ore Mountains of Chomutov District, declared in 2002 over about 6,500 hectares and abolished on 18 October 2024, when its territory passed to the new Střední Krušnohoří nature park. It protected the valley of the Chomutovka and its tributaries, the Křimovský potok and Kamenička, between roughly 340 m at Chomutov and the 849 m summit of Menhartický vrch.
The valley was formerly called Grundtal or Assigtal, after the old German name of the Chomutovka, Assigbach. The road through it was begun in 1887 and finished five years later. Three mills once stood here; the third, Dörrmühle or Dreiwassermühle, at the Chomutovka–Křimovský potok confluence, was replaced by a mountain hotel demolished in 2008. The park was declared in 2002 and abolished on 18 October 2024, its area passing to the new Střední Krušnohoří nature park.
The valley was formerly called Grundtal or Assigtal in German, after the old name of the Chomutovka, Assigbach. Three mills once stood along the stream; the site of the third, Dörrmühle or Dreiwassermühle, at the confluence with the Křimovský potok, later held a mountain hotel demolished in 2008. The building U Pašeráka, built in 1912 as a shelter for tourists, stands 3.5 km below Hora Svatého Šebestiána.
The park was abolished on 18 October 2024 and its territory incorporated into the new Střední Krušnohoří Nature Park, so current maps and signage may still show the old boundaries. The Chomutovka valley road, begun in 1887 and finished five years later, runs through the area; the I/7 road marks the south-western and western edge.
The park was abolished on 18 October 2024 and its territory folded into the newly created Střední Krušnohoří Nature Park. The former park also held the 1.2 km Dieterova štola, a tunnel diverting surplus water from the Kamenička catchment above the dam into the Chomutovka.
