The Art Cinema in Brno is a theater with multiple screening rooms dedicated to independent and international films, equipped with modern digital projection technology. The spaces are designed with viewer comfort in mind and offer a focused film-watching experience.

The cinema opened in the early 20th century and continued operations through different political periods in the region. It served as a cultural venue during the Czech New Wave era when the local film scene was particularly active.

The venue screens films from various European countries in their original languages with subtitles, creating a space where visitors encounter different filmmaking traditions. The programming reflects a commitment to showing perspectives from across the continent.

Tickets can be reserved online, and the cinema offers student discounts and monthly memberships. These memberships provide access to special screenings and film discussions held throughout the year.

The building has a specialized projection system capable of screening rare 70mm film formats alongside digital presentations. This capability is uncommon and appeals to film enthusiasts looking for experiences beyond standard formats.
