Naučná stezka Louny–Zeměchy

The educational trail between Louny and Zeměchy is a walking path that moves through varied landscapes with information stations at several points along the way. The route passes by water systems, rock formations, and different habitat zones, each marked with explanations about the local environment.

The trail was created by scout groups in 2007 to mark a milestone in the organization's local history. The route follows part of the historic Louny aqueduct system, which has existed since the Renaissance period.

Scout groups from Louny created this educational path as a way to connect with their community and share their passion for nature learning. Today, schools and families use the trail regularly to discover more about the local environment.

The walk can be started from the upper part of Louny and finished with a train ride back from the Zeměchy area, making return travel simple. The route works for both hikers and cyclists and requires only standard outdoor gear.

The different stations cover specialized topics like climate data and soil science, not just simple nature facts. This scientific depth makes the trail a place where genuine environmental knowledge is shared.
