Park Koliště is a square park bounded by Koliště Street, Rooseveltova and Za divadlem streets, with Lidická Street at its northwest arc and the Brno Magistrate building at its southeast end; Jezuitská Street divides it in two. It occupies the site of Brno's former outer fortifications and was created in stages between 1793 and 1864. The park contains a light fountain shaped like a stage curtain, a water jet, several fountains, and sculptures including Franta Úprka's Poutníci and a 1970 allegory of the Moravian eagle by Olbram Zoubek.

The oldest section, a tree-lined promenade outside the outer walls, dates from after 1793. Napoleon had the outer rampart demolished in 1809 and the inner wall followed in 1831; from 1816 Count Antonín Bedřich Mitrovský initiated planting along the new ring road. The park was later reduced by the railway, customs office and Janáček Theatre, and was extensively renovated in 2012–2013.

The park's name comes from "koliště", the Czech word for the glacis, the sloping bank outside a town moat. Sculptures mark its history: Franta Úprka's Poutníci group was installed in 1915, and a 1975 monument honours composer Leoš Janáček beside the theatre. A 1994–1995 replica recalls Bohuslav Fuchs's 1926 Zemanova kavárna, demolished in 1964.

The park is bounded by Koliště Street on the outer side and by Rooseveltova and Za divadlem streets on the inner side, with Jezuitská Street dividing it in two. Lidická Street meets its northwestern arc, and the Brno Magistrát building stands at the southeastern end. A tram line runs along Koliště.

The park's name comes from "koliště", the Czech term for the glacis, the sloping outer bank beyond a town's moat. The park occupies the exact line of Brno's former outer fortifications, and its oldest section, a tree promenade, was laid out after 1793.
