Jírovec na Helfštýně

The Jírovec tree is a solitary specimen standing about 20 meters tall within the grounds of Helfštýn Castle. It grows openly on the castle premises, creating a natural contrast against the medieval stone structures.

The tree grows on grounds established in the 14th century when Friduš of Linava founded the castle. Later, the Lords of Kravaře expanded the fortress, and the tree has remained part of this evolving landscape.
