The Church of Saint James stands with a separate wooden bell tower and features architectural elements from both Gothic and post-Gothic periods.
The religious structure was built in 1391 and underwent several modifications during the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries to adapt to changing architectural trends.
The church represents a central religious landmark in the municipality of Libiš, which has grown from an agricultural village to a community of 2,415 residents.
Located 18 kilometers north of Prague, the church is accessible via the I/9 road that connects to the D8 motorway and the town of Mělník.
The church maintains its original Gothic construction elements while incorporating architectural modifications from different historical periods in a single structure.
