Nad Kašavou, Natural monument in Kašava, Czech Republic

Nad Kašavou is a natural monument declared on 27 July 2015 by the Zlín Region authority. It lies 100 metres south of Kašava, covers 4.6053 hectares at 365–420 metres above sea level, and most of it belongs to the Nad Kašavou Site of Community Importance.

The area gained protected status in 2015 when Czech authorities designated it under national nature conservation law. This action safeguarded the important habitats found in the region.

Nad Kašavou lies in the Kašava cadastral area, about 100 metres south of the village, at 365–420 metres above sea level. The Czech name refers to the position above Kašava, and the site covers 4.6053 hectares.

Visitors should stick to designated paths and respect the natural surroundings while exploring. The area is accessible on foot and best visited during stable weather conditions.

The protected area covers 4.6053 hectares at 365–420 metres above sea level, and most of it, 4.2613 hectares, also lies within the Nad Kašavou Site of Community Importance, designated on 3 November 2009 across 27.4914 hectares.
