Zemědělské muzeum – Pachtův Špejchar ve Stanovicích

The Zemědělské muzeum - Pachtův Špejchar ve Stanovicích is located in a traditional two-story granary building with sgraffito decorations and flat window frames adorning its exterior. The structure contains an extensive collection of agricultural implements and household objects from rural life.

The granary was built in 1596, making it one of the oldest preserved storage structures in Southern Bohemia. In 2004, it received official recognition as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic, acknowledging its architectural and historical importance.

The exhibits showcase farming tools and household items that reflect how rural communities lived and worked during the early 20th century. These objects reveal the skills and routines that shaped life in this region for many generations.

The museum sits on a working farm that also offers horseback riding and overnight accommodation, allowing visitors to extend their experience. Guests can explore the collection while enjoying other rural activities available on the property.

The collection has been managed by the Pacht family since 2006, who have carefully preserved the objects with personal dedication. This family stewardship has given the place a human dimension, turning a visit into an encounter with genuine custodians of local memory.
