Church of Saint Procopius in Březové Hory

The Church of Saint Procopius in Březové Hory is a Neo-Gothic building with a rectangular single-nave layout, featuring a square tower on the western facade and a smaller sanctus tower above the presbytery. The structure combines the typical characteristics of Neo-Gothic style with functional elements for worship.

Construction of the current building started in 1879, replacing an earlier stone chapel from 1724 that served the local mining community. This renewal shows the ongoing importance of the place for people in the region across generations.

The main altar shows the patron saint of miners, accompanied by a Rococo side altar dedicated to another important saint. This arrangement reflects the location's deep connection to the mining tradition.

The building is easy to find and functions today as a venue for religious ceremonies and community gatherings. Nearby is a forested area with historical crosses, offering a pleasant outdoor walk.

Adjacent to the building is a birch forest containing two historical crosses - one made of stone from 1831 and another of cast iron from 1859. These crosses show the religious devotion that developed over generations in this forest area.
