Chata na vrchu Lovoš, Mountain lodge in Oparno, Czechia.
Chata na vrchu Lovoš is a mountain lodge located on the Lovoš peak within the České Středohoří range at approximately 570 meters elevation. The building provides shelter and refreshments for hikers traveling through the area.
The building was established in 1892 by the Lovosice Mountain Association as part of the region's hiking infrastructure. Major renovation work in the 1980s restored the structure and enabled continued operation for modern visitors.
The lodge serves as a central gathering point for the Czech Tourist Club Lovosice, maintaining traditions of mountain hospitality since the 19th century.
Two marked trails provide access to the lodge: the blue route beginning from Oparno and an educational path from the southeast. Both routes are well signposted and suit different starting points and walking preferences.
Several historic castles are visible from the lodge grounds, including Hazmburk, Bezděz, and Košťálov across the landscape. The terrace also overlooks the Elbe Valley and Lake Píšťany, making it a favored viewpoint for those interested in local geography.
