Rataje nad Sázavou Castle

Rataje nad Sázavou Castle is a multi-wing fortress complex with Gothic foundations that were later modified in Renaissance and Baroque styles. The complex features an arcaded courtyard enclosed by stone walls.

The castle was founded in the 14th century and went through various phases of modification over the centuries. A major transformation occurred in 1675 when builder de Guarde completely restructured it for Franz Maximilian Talmberk.
