Fara

Fara is a rectangular clergy house in Krsy with a sloped roof dating to the late 18th century. The building combines residential spaces for priests, offices for parish affairs, and agricultural outbuildings arranged around the yard.

The house was built during the reforms of Joseph II in the second half of the 18th century, when new clergy houses were constructed to strengthen pastoral care in rural areas.

The building occupies the village center next to the Gothic church and shapes the look of the main square through its traditional architecture. Its position and form show how closely the church and clergy house were interwoven in the village structure.

The building is centrally located in the village near the church and is easily accessible on foot. Visitors can view the exterior architecture from the village square and understand how it fits into the village layout.

The building was created by joining two older townhouses that were transformed into a clergy house. This merger shaped the interior layout that remains visible today and shows how buildings were adapted for new purposes.
