The church stands on the village square (náves) of Krsy, in the Manětín Roman Catholic parish, and is reached on foot from the surrounding lanes. The sundial stones lie on the eastern side of the building, so walk round the east end to find them.

East of the church stand two stones set into the ground in 1874 by the sacristan, who lacked a tower clock and used the sun instead: when the church's shadow falls between them, it is noon. The so-called noon clock is considered an astronomical monument without parallel in the Czech lands.
