The Holy Trinity column rises from Mírové náměstí square as a Baroque structure adorned with elaborate carved reliefs depicting religious figures. The detailed sculptural work demonstrates the artistic skill of craftsmen from that era.
The monument was built between 1727 and 1729 during a period of rebuilding after Swedish forces destroyed the settlement in 1643. Its construction following this destruction reflects the community's determination to restore and express their faith.
