The Church of Saint Martin is a religious structure featuring two Baroque chapels that were added during the 18th century. The Chapel of Saint Barbara and the Chapel of Saint John of Nepomuk demonstrate the building's architectural development over multiple generations.

A wooden church stood on this site from the 14th century and burned in a fire in 1661. The current church was completed in 1680, but the day before its consecration it was looted and set on fire, so the filial church of Saint John the Baptist served as the parish church for a time. In 1740 the Chapel of Saint Barbara and the Chapel of Saint John of Nepomuk were added to the repaired building, and the churchyard was abolished in 1824.

The church serves the local Catholic community as a regular gathering place for worship and religious observances. The building is a familiar landmark in the town landscape that residents and visitors easily recognize.

The building sits in the center of the protected monument zone and is easily reached on foot. Visitors can attend regular Sunday services or explore the building from outside without paying admission.

The church holds a hanging triptych of the Wallachian Madonna by Adolf Liebscher, a copy of which hangs in the chapel on Radhošť. Inside is also a Wallachian Nativity scene (Valašský Betlém) by Jan Knebl. The bell now in the tower, cast by Josef Tkadlec of Holenkov, weighs 500 kg and bears an image of Saint Martin, the town's coat of arms and the inscription Deus caritas est.
