Kaple, Religious chapel in Hrušovany nad Jevišovkou, Czech Republic

The Khuen-Belasi funeral chapel in Hrušovany nad Jevišovkou is a Neo-Romanesque burial chapel built in 1899 in the town cemetery. It has an octagonal plan with a projecting porch and presbytery, three window openings on the facade, and a facade of exposed brick with stucco moulding and horizontal dentil bands. The roof is a polygonal pyramid topped by a polygonal lantern with a cross.

The Khuen-Belasi funeral chapel was built in 1899 on the cemetery in Hrušovany nad Jevišovkou. In the crypt lie the last owners of the local chateau and estate: Countess Anna Kammel (née Hardegg), her husband Karl Kammel, and their daughter Emanuela Khuen-Belasi with her husband Eduard. After the war the chapel served as a mortuary and later as a store for cemetery maintenance, which led to its decay. The roof was repaired in 2009 and the facade restored in 2011; both works placed second in the South Moravian Region's best-restored-monument competition.

The chapel holds the tombs of the last owners of the Hrušovany chateau: Countess Anna Kammel (née Hardegg), her husband Karl Kammel, and their daughter Emanuela Khuen-Belasi with her husband Eduard. A stone cross inside bears the German dedication "Den unvergesslichen lieben Eltern". After the war the building served as a mortuary and later as a store for cemetery maintenance.

The chapel stands in the central position of the town cemetery in Hrušovany nad Jevišovkou and is enclosed by a square iron fence. It is owned by the municipality, so access to the interior is not guaranteed; the brick facade, windows and pyramid roof with lantern can be seen from the cemetery.

The chapel was used as a mortuary after the war and later as a storage room for cemetery maintenance, which led to its gradual decay. A roof repair in 2009 took second place in the South Moravian Region's best-restored monument competition, and the facade renewal repeated that result in 2011.
