The steel truss bridge over the Elbe in Kuks is a 19 m single-span structure with a lower deck, built of welded steel and riveted joints. Its two 2 m deep girders carry eight truss panels spaced 5.48 m apart, with cross diagonals and inclined ties. It rests on two sandstone block piers; the right-bank pier, trapezoidal in plan, also serves as the fourth pier of the adjoining flood bridge.

The wooden strut-and-hanger bridge that first crossed the Elbe here was part of František Antonín Špork's Baroque complex built between 1692 and 1724. In the 1880s it was replaced by a riveted steel truss bridge from the Prague-Bubna firm L. G. Bondy a synové, whose two cast-iron nameplates in Czech and German still document the maker. The bridge was declared a cultural monument in 2015 and repaired in 2017 for 5.9 million crowns, reopening in spring 2018.

Two cast-iron plaques on the structure carry Czech and German inscriptions naming the Prague-Bubna firm L. G. Bondy a synové, which built the steel truss in the 1880s. The bridge is part of the Kuks heritage reserve with the hospital complex and the sculptures at Betlém, and its right-bank pier doubles as the fourth pier of the adjoining flood bridge.

The bridge is 19 m long with a single span and a lower deck, resting on two sandstone-block abutments; the right-bank pier is also the fourth pier of the adjoining flood bridge. It was repaired in 2017 for 5.9 million CZK and reopened in spring 2018, with a load capacity of 26 t. The deck is now edged with oak and surfaced with beech planks.

The bridge was reported lost in 2012 and then found by the municipality of Kuks. Its right-bank pier doubles as the fourth pier of the adjoining flood bridge, and that shared pier is a national cultural monument. The steel structure is welded, but every joint is riveted, and riveting was used again in the 2017 repair.
