The Church of Exaltation of the Holy Cross in Linhartovy is a brick Empire-style parish church with a single nave, a recessed rectangular presbytery and a rectangular sacristy. The main facade's central section is marked by banded rustication and two Tuscan pilasters; above it rises a square tower topped by a pyramidal roof. The whole roof is covered with slate.

Linhartovy had no church until 1833; services were held in the castle chapel of St. Hyacinth, which was too small. Funds were raised in the 1820s, the church was begun in 1833 and consecrated the following year. An organ was acquired in 1862, the interior was painted by Gustav Preček in 1901, and bells requisitioned in both world wars were returned in 1925. It has been a cultural monument since 1958.

Before the church was built, services were held in the castle chapel of St. Hyacinth at Linhartovy Castle, which had become too small for the congregation. The brick church was consecrated in 1834, the year after construction began. Its bells were requisitioned in both world wars, and the bell returned only in 1925.
