Windmill in Příčovy

The windmill in Příčovy is a cylindrical tower ruin built from rubble and granite, standing on a small hill near a pond. The remaining structure reveals how these buildings concentrated all the milling machinery within one solid, compact form.

This structure was built before 1606 and operated until the 18th century to grind grain for nearby villages. Its long period of use shows how important wind power was to the region until other methods eventually replaced it.
