The Church of Holy Trinity in Srní is a stone building topped with a distinctive dome and tower that rises prominently above the surrounding landscape. Inside, the church contains a Baroque altar, small candleholders from its early years, and a wooden statue of the Virgin Mary relocated from a nearby chapel.
The original wooden church was built in 1788 and later replaced by a stone structure between 1804 and 1805 following permission from Emperor Joseph II. The large bells were removed in 1916 for military purposes and replaced with new ones in 1922 that remain in use today.
The church is dedicated to the Holy Trinity and remains central to village religious life today. Local residents gather for regular Sunday services, and each August a special celebration in honor of the Virgin Mary brings people together for a procession from a nearby chapel.
The church is easily spotted from a distance due to its prominent dome and tower rising above the small village. Visitors can freely explore the exterior and enter to see the interior altars and religious objects in a quiet, forested setting that invites peaceful walks around the area.
The altar and interior decoration include small handmade beads and ornaments from a nearby glassworks, adding a personal touch to the sacred space. A wooden statue of Our Lady of Lourdes rescued from the demolished pilgrimage chapel of Hauswald in 1957 now stands on a side altar as a cherished local treasure.
